"'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is
possible for him who believes." Mark
9:23
We CANNOT be a
true Christian without faith. That faith
we start our walk with should be constantly growing, like exercising your
muscles. We need time in God’s Word
every day, and we need to stay in prayer if we plan to grow into the men and
women that God truly desires for us.
If I say I have faith but do not put that faith into action,
what good will it do? How can I say to a
man trapped in a pit, “be well”, “be free”, and not put into action the
throwing of a rope or placing a ladder or reaching of my hand to actually help
the man out. If all is right with God,
and we are doing His Will, we can believe, and have faith that God will heal
someone’s sickness; the action here would be the belief. Sometimes we need to remember that God’s Will
is for a doctor to treat sickness. PRAYER and knowing God’s Will is very
important. Many a person serving God has
a testimony that they have sat down at a table to eat with no food, they pray
as if they have the food and within a few minuets someone knocks on their door
with a blessing of food. Both people put
their faith into action.
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of
what we do not see.” Hebrews
11:1
“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans
10:10
